Like many others, I was inspired and awed by Peart’s drumming with Rush. Worth remembering he was the band’s chief lyricist as well.

If you ever have a chance to read the handful of books he wrote about riding his motorcycle through Africa and North America, I recommend you do so. They’re emotionally raw as they capture tough moments in his life as well as showing his unique sense of humor.
